Just started a new series of comics. Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
Awesome. It's about a guy who meets the girl of his dreams, literally, but discovers that in order to date her he has to defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends. The comics are a perfect blend of everyday geek storyline, with computer game fighting and references, topped off with some great writing. Some people complain that the art is poor but i think it's perfect for the story, and the characters look great. Full of original ideas I'd highly recommend the books, even though I've only read the first two.

Also you might have seen the trailer for the film they're making soon. Bringing together my recent joy for the comics and long time love of Michael Cera, stretching back to arrested development. If not here it is.

Oh yeah and the band who inspired the comic name, plumtree, are cool as hell. Check them out.
